昨日はね、徳島の阿波おどりも日帰りで見てきましたよ
(Yesterday I went on a day trip to see Tokushima's Awa-Dance festival.)

『よさこい』は若さ、ド迫力、激しいロックのリズムなのに対して、
『阿波おどり』は鉦や太鼓、横笛、三味線なんかの鳴りものに合わせての
正調派、格調の高さがうりってところかしら
(Yosakoi is young, energetic, and full of a lively rock rhythm, but compared to it Awa-Dance is totally different. It has a traditional style blending bells and two kinds of drums. It seems a little bit more noble and dignified.)

でもどちらも、よかったよ～～
それぞれに甲乙つけがたし！！ってとこね。
(But, really they both are great. It's like trying to pick between apples and oranges)
