昨日、高知のよさこい祭りに行ってきました。
(Yesterday I went to the Yosakoi Festival in Kochi)



　　　　　　　　　


その迫力ったら『すごーい！！』の一言。
(All I can say is "Wow!" It was pretty powerful!)

この37℃を超す猛暑の中、朝から街のあちこちで踊りを繰り広げたあげくの
夜の追手筋の競演場での演舞。
(In the middle of this 99 degree midsummer weather, from morning until night the dancers move all around the city in a big parade line.)

踊る方はもちろん、見る方も汗、汗、汗…！！！
(Of course for the dancers, but also for the people watching, it's sweaty, sweaty, sweaty!)

聞くところによると踊り手も年々増えて
今年は二万人を超えたとかなんとか、、、
(Every year the number of dancers gets bigger. This year there were 20,000)

どのチームの衣装も、地方車（じかたしゃ）も音量も、
もちろん踊りの振り付けも、凝りに凝って見応え満点！！

さじき席と舞う人が一体となって、若さ溢れるこの夜の熱気も
よさこいの大きな魅力かしら！！
(All of the energy overflowing from the crowd and from the dancers into the hot night must be what the real charm of Yosakoi is)

こればかりはぜひぜひ一度実際に見に行って、おなかにひびく臨場感を
肌でじかに感じてください。
