(Today, something happened that really made me think, "I am SOO glad that I have been doing Nomura Art Room these past 35 years!")
(Today, two of our staff members, Mariko and Cha-Cha, gave me a surprise present! The first surprise was a book of photos taken by Cha-cha, who is a photography major. The second was a book by Mariko called "Artistic Children," which was, expectedly, an introduction to the art room.)

They are both gorgeous!!
In a sudden rush of feeling, I ended up crying!
(The photos and the writing are all beautiful! So cute! Ahh!!! Look, look-- every page of the book is saying "here is love!" I feel like I want to show this book to everyone! But, at the same time, I feel like I want to keep it just for me...)
(But, of course I really have to show it to all of the people who belong to the art room. And, from now on I think I will definitly show it to anyone who is thinking about joining.)
(For all of the people reading this blog and all of the art room mother's, if you want to see the books then just give a shout! Then, I will secretly let you see them! Why secretly?? Because these books are both hand-made one of a kind treasures, of course!)
[Where exactly did I receive these presents? Well, at the sushi-resteraunt "Kappa-Zushi!"* (* - Kappa is a small, green Japanese water sprite that drowns small children in rivers and plays tricks. The resteraunt Kappa-Zushi is a kaiten (revolving) sushi resteraunt. You get sushi one plate at a time. Kappa-Zushi isn't exactly the most fancy of all of the revolving sushi resteraunts, either.
)
That was probably another reason I was so moved!! Maybe..??]

(A present sent to us from Koufu! We were told that you can just wash this new corn, and without cooking it at all, eat it! Jenn proved it to be true! The plums, called Soldum, used to be called "hatankyou" in an older time, didn't they?? They have a sweet and sour, old-time flavor.)
