きのうのアートるーむはね、
おみやげに頂いたわさびせんべいでお茶したの!!
ぴりっ、さくっ、って何ともふしぎなおいしさだったわー。
(Yesterday in the art room we had wasabi senbei that I was given as a gift during our tea break. It was a spicy, crunchy, mysteriously delicious snack!)


カフェオレによくあうのよね、これが。
ごちそうさまー。
(The senbei tastes really good with cafe au lait. We enjoyed eating it!)

ランチはね、
のりこさんが今ハマっているもりおか冷麺よ!
具はね、きゅうり、卵、キムチ、ハム、タコ、...だったかな?
なんせ、冷蔵庫の残りものばっかりだったワ...。
(Lunch was some raymen noodles that I made. The toppings were cucumber, egg, kim-chee, ham, octopus... I think that is it. It was really just whatever was left over in the fridge.)

「コシの強い独特な食感の半透明な麺と、ほどよい辛さとほのかな酸味を利かせたスープ」って外袋に書いてあるんだけど、ホントその通りよ!
("Strong special flavored transulcent noodles in a spicy, but somewhat sour, soup," is what was written on the bag the noodles came in. It was really true!!)

でもね、これって北海道産なのに、
なんで「もりおか」なの??
だれか、知っている人がいたら教えて!!
(But, if this is really a Hokkaido specialty, how come it says "Morioka" -a city in Iwate prefecture?? If someone knows, please tell me!)
