きのうね、超おいしーいトマトをいただいたの!!
神出町紫合(かんでちょう ゆうだ)ってところの産なんだけど、
ハンパじゃなく美味なの!!ホントよ。

もちろんディナーはトマトパスタよ。
 湯むきしたトマトと玉ねぎ(どちらも大きめのみじん切り)でソースを作ります。
ローリエとオレガノ・バジル・ガーリックを入れて
ブィヨンで煮込みます。
 途中できのこ(私はしめじとエリンギを入れました)と鮭缶をお汁ごと加えます。
 最後にパスタがゆであがってから生ほうれん草を入れて、麺とからめます。

ついでにもう1品。
なすびとベーコンとガーリックをオリーブオイルでいためて、S.P.で味つけしたものをやはりゆであげ麺とからめます。
トッピングは、やっぱり、トマトね。

どちらもちょとしたコツなんだけど、麺のゆで汁を必ず少ーし加えます。
ゆであがったら、私はざるにあげるんじゃなくてゆで鍋からソースパンに直接おはしで麺をすいくいとっちゃうの。おいしいよー。
ただ ソースは少し濃いめのお味つけにしてね

昨夜Jennが作ってくれた,さくらんぼマフィンと
Chaの台湾おみやげのドライ桃入りケーキです。
どちらもグー!!
Jennもうでをあげたわよ!!

Yesterday I was given some really delicious tomatos! They are a specialty from a place called Yuuda in Kande. They are really truly great!!!
Of course, dinner was tomato pasta.
1. I boiled the tomatos and took the peels off and then I made sauce with the cut up tomatos and onion (cut into big-sized small pieces). Then I mixed in some buillon, laurel, oregano, basil, and garlic.
2. I decided to put in some mushrooms (I used smeji and eringi mushrooms) and some fish into the mix as well.
3. Last, I put some raw spinach on top of the boiled pasta. Then I mixed it all together.
I also made one other kind of pasta.... it was eggplant, bacon, garlic, and olive oil pasta. Of course, after it was done cooking I seasoned it with good old salt and pepper.
I put some tomatos on top!
The secret technique is to keep just a *little* bit of the water that the pasta boiled in.
When I have finished boiling the pasta, I do not put it into a colander, but instead I use chopsticks and put it into the saucepan. It's really delicious!
(You should make sure the sauce has a fairly thick flavor if you are going to use this method).
As a side dish I had some freshly chilled tomato and asparagus salad. It was really simple but it was a hit!
Dessert was the cherry muffins and cake Jenn made yesterday. The cake was made with dried plums that Cha gave us as a gift from Taiwan! Both the muffins and the cake were gooood!
Jennifer is getting good at cooking too!
