BBQの日
きのうの日曜日、梅雨なのか、まだ梅雨前なのか、という天気の中、またまたガーデンパーティしたの。
おーちゃんの退院お祝ということでね。ィエーィ！！
バーベキューは定番のお肉と、あと、さわらです。
さわらはね、庭ののび放題のフェンネルで風味をつけました。お魚との相性はバッチリ！！
あと、ごはんは梅干しとしそ風味、みょうがとごまとたくわん、セロリと三葉ともみのりをいーっぱいトッピング、という３種。
どれも、どれも、めっちゃおいしかったです～～！

English Translation
----------------------------
Sunday it was difficult to tell: is it rainy season? or has it yet to begin? But, during such weather we had another garden party. The party was in honor of O-chan getting out of the hospital.
We had the standard BBQ fair: meat, and fish (in Japanese you say 'sawara' but in english, perhaps it is a fish called 'sierra'). We flavored the fish with the fennel that is growing all over the garden. The flavor was perfect!
The rest of the meal was: sour plum and shiso flavored rice, there was also a lot of sesame and japanese ginger (called 'myoga'), and lots of different toppings like celery, and various types of greens.
The dessert was the parsley cake (I posted the recipe before), and Jenn made O-chan's favorite apple pie. We also had a banana cake that was made in the rice cooker!
There was also fruit punch which was a huge hit with the kids.
Everything and anything was super delicious~~!
